Circuit Toubkal Mountains Climb 7 Days

Day 1 : Marrakech – Imlil – Tachdirt

The team will meet you in your raid or hotel so as to after breakfast we’re going heading to Imlil (80 km from Marrakech) the mean town of extreme high atlas, so, we will meet the rest of the team (muleteers and the cooker) and start our trekking, passing one gentle mountain pass of (2307m)high, and go along a typical valley , overnight under stars at Tachddirt camp(2300m).

Day 2: Tachdirt – Pass Likemt – Aazib Likemt

We will start earlier in order to cross one magnificent mountain pass (3550m), and get likemt after a downhill, with an overnight under stars again in full nature.

Day 3: Aazib N’likemet – tizi N’ouaouri – Amsouzarte

We’re going along anther valley among mountains, in order to cross anther mountain pass of (3100m) and get a wonderful valley which is oudman and overnight in traditional guest house in Amsouzart village.

Day 4: Amsouzarte – Imhilne – Ifni Lake

After a breakfast we’re going to along a large path towards Ifni dame, where we’ll overnight and enjoy a swim in its fresh water.

Day 5: Ifni Lake – tizi n’ouanoums- Toubkal refuge

We’ll start earlier again in order to cross the highest mountain pass around Toubkal area, it’s of course Ouannoums mountain pass (3670m) where we will enjoy a great panoramic views onto over (4000m) mountains range, and we’re getting Toubkal refuge(3207m) after a downhill, with an overnight indoor or outdoor.

Day 6: Toubkal refuge – toubkal summit 4167m – toubkal refuge

In last day, we’ll start again as early as it possible to climb Toubkal, come down to the refuge in order to have lunch and go down again to get Imlil, after visiting the Moroccan pilgrimage  on the way by the evening , you will be picked up to Marrakech

Day 7: Toubkal refuge – Sidi chamharouch – Armed- Imlil – Marrakech

After breakfast and when we are ready, we shall then set off towards the north along steeply descending, zigzagging trails of the higher slopes of the valley of assif nissganne, towards the berber village of sidi chamharouch.

Set beside a waterfall, with its homes surpringly built one into the other, it is yet another sight to be enjoyed.

There is a pilgrimage marabout shrine here, probably the remnant of pre-islamic culture , but forbidden to non muslims.

On leaving the village, we shall notice a tree, sacred to the local berbers, where they hang strips of coloured cloth and pile up stones as we descend for some 8 kms.

High above the valley of assif nait misane, down zigzagging trails around granite and basalt grey rocks to the remarkable village of aroumd 1880m, built on a spur of moraine rock & commanding one of the more fertile valleys of the high atlas mountains with terrace, irrigated plots and fields of maize, onions and fruit trees on all sides.

Here, we shall stop for our picnic prior to contnuing on for about 3 kms along mule tracks zigzagging above the river to arrive finally, at the berber village of Imlil, the end of the trek.

Transportation is then provided to return you to Marrakech.
