Zaouiat Ahansal located in the province of Azilal, backed by a barrier of ochre cliffs dominating the waters of a fringed torrent of greenery.

A lot of fortifications that we call Ksar or fortress built in Adobe, it is always located in a spectacular location, perched on a steep headland clinging to a rocky wall, or erected above an oasis.
Typically combining attics and dwellings, they are found on foothills close to Oasis in order to protect themselves from attacks from nomadic tribes.
A zaouiat is a sanctuary where a very pious man is buried. It is recognized by its roof decorated with green ceramics.
In Ahansal, it is the tomb of Sidi Saïd which is preserved, a 17th century holy man.
Every year, in the summer, the inhabitants of the surrounding valleys come to celebrate, each in turn, the marabout buried in the Qoubba (mausoleum) on the green roof.

Lunch in the shade of juniper: splendid view over the valley of Ait Bougumez with mountains.

Today our trekking will be just easy because we are going to walk through the green valley of Ait Bougmez known as the happy valley,you may feel that too,specially when you meet women’s who are wokring in their fields,so you can ask thel why they call this valley ( Happy Valley ). Lunch will be near the Spring of Ifran.
