Itinerary

• Day 01

  Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Agdz – Draa Valley – Zagora

  You will be picked up from your hotel or riad in the morning. Our destination will be the the southern part of the High Atlas Mountains taking the tizi n tichka pass; one of the most spectacular drives in Morocco. We will be crossing the high Atlas Mountain after climbing up to 2260 meters above sea level to get to AIT BEN HADOU KASBAH. Here we will be visiting the most important world heritage site in Morocco according to UNESCO since 1987. Besides the amazing history of the kasbah that we are going to learn with our tour guide; we will be amazed to learn about all the movies that were shot here. Of course if you have seen GLADIATOR; lawrance of arabia; prince of persia … you will have already seen the kasbah before but today you will be a part of its magic.The city of Ouarzazate is only 30 km from this ancient village where there is Taourirte Kasbah. Then we cross the lunar landscapes of the Anti-Atlas Mountains before we reach the oasis of Agdez. After we will drive along Draa valley admiring the palm groves and the old tribal Ksours. Zogora oasis is the last stop for today,composed of more than 300 thousand palms.

• Day 02

  Zagora – Tamagroute – Erg Chegaga

  After your breakfast at the hotel we drive about 18 km south of Zagora to explore Tamagrout which is situated on Draa River, in this small town we will visit one of oldest libraries of the kingdom. Driving along Draa valley to M’hamid, that is a very modest village. And not much different from the village you have passed before arriving here. From a vast plateau you will get impressed by the huge sand dune of Chiggaga appearing from the horizon,where we go for a camel ride to meet one of the most fascinating sand dunes sights we will ever see, the superb sunset in the middle of the high sand dune. Tonight we stay in Berber camp and enjoy a wonderful stars view.

• Day 03

  Erg Chegaga – Foum Zguid – Taznakht – Marrakech

  The last day we carry on our tour through the dunes of Erg Cheggaga and vast off road to Foum-Zguid. Afterwards we drive to the berber village of Taznakht.It is where we have so many association of women for making the famous berber carpets with its different technics of working (weaving-knotting-embroidering). We head again to the high Atlas Mountains .End up our tour in Marrakech
