Itinerary

• Day 01

  Marrakech – Ait ben Haddou -- Ouarzazate – Rose valley – Dades Gorges.

  We pick you up from your Riad or Hotel and leave Marrakech to begin our Mountain & Desert Safari Tour 6 Days 5 Nights. Our destination today will be Dades or Skoura Oasis . We pass through Tizi-n-Tishka 2260 meters,make stops to see the high Atlas Mountains and appreciate the views to the mountains and Berber villages. travelling with Morocco Best Travel is getting the best option to discover the real things and an authentic Morocco,we take you via talouet and ounilla valley an ancient routes of all caravans coming from south and other african countries, during your driving you can make stops all over the ounilla valley .We visit the Ait Ben Haddou village which is recognized by UNESCO as a world patrimony. It is famous as a backdrop for many films, including ‘Lawrence of Arabia’, ‘Gladiator’ and ‘Alexander’. We take lunch here before continuing on our way enjoying the natural beauty of the landscapes and historical monuments such as Taourirt Kasbah in Ouarzazate and Roses Valley, which is renowned for the Festival of Roses. We also pass through the little Berber villages of Skoura and ‘El Kelaa des M’Gouna’ and ‘Boumalene Dades’. The latter is our final stop for the day.

• Day 02

  Dades Gorges- Tinghir- Toudra Gorges- Arfoud- Erg Chebbi

  Camel ride and night in a camp . From Boumalene Dades we head to Merzouga in one of the largest windblown dunes in Morrocco, Erg Chebbi. Through the Berber village Tinghir we visit Todra Gorge where the cliffs are as high as 600m and only 10m apart. We leave Todra passing through many Berber villages to pass through Tinjdad where we can stop for lunch in Khourbat village,if you have time you can visit probably the most beautiful Berber musuem . After lunch we make our way to Merzouga where we meet our camel man,carefully we take the camels for 1 hour 30 minute,in order to get to the top of the dunes to watch the sunset from the highest dunes of Erg Chebbi before you head to the camp.

• Day 03

  Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Ifran- Fez

  You dont have to miss it,because this sunrise probably i twill be one of your best moments in your life,depending on you,your sunrise could be just from your window or take the advantage and walk up to one of the dunes and wait for this moment.

  Beakfast will be ready after watching the sunrise,camel ride back to meet your driver,as well as you can take the 4WD as anther option if you dont enjoy riding the camel.

  We leave Merzouga on route to Fez, passing through many places : Arfoud, Errachidia,Ziz Valley, Meditlt, Cedar Forests of Azrou, Ifran and Fez,short stops in those places in order to get to Fez around 7h00 pm.

• Day 04

  Fez City Tour

  After breakfast, you  will have a guided visit at 9:00 Am in the medina of Fez. To begin with  the southern tower and the fortress of 16th century face to face with northern one, a panoramic view over the medieval city. We will visit an enjoyable cooperative of pottery. It will enhance your knowledge about the making of Moroccan mosaic “zellige” and the blue pottery of Fez. A true labyrinthine old city of 8th century. You will travel in time back to the medieval period of the city where people still work in small narrow streets, several tiny stalls of all kinds of traditional crafts, and donkeys loaded with supplies are going up and down in the streets of the medina. You will feel no sense of direction and time halts for a while. The medina of Fez is rich of its Islamic monuments: the fascinating old mosques, the University of El-Karaouiyine  and its libraries. All These elements made Fez the intellectual and cultural capital of the country. To finish the day there is an optional to see Jewish quarter including the Aben Danan Synagogue.

• Day 05

  Fez – Khenifra- Beni Mellal – Bin el Ouidan

  After an amazing night in the raid in fes, and after your breakfast we leave fes into the middle atlas towards Khenifra the home of the real Berber music, then Zawiat Echikh where we’re going to stop for the pictures and magic landscapes of Ahmed Elhansali dame. Arriving to Beni mallal the white city the lunch will be with local family or restaurant in the same city before we head to Bin el Ouidan,beautiful place to relax and explore another different landscape.

  Kayak Season,Boat tours,Djesky and walking tour are optional acitivities in Bin el Ouidan.

• Day 06

  Bin El Ouidan - Ouzoud Cascades – Imi N’ifri – Marrakech.

  After having a breakfast in the hotel we are going to enjoy the day walking around the second highest waterfalls in africa,before to get back to Marrakech via Demnat & Imi N’Ifri. Arriving at Marrakech in the afternoon.
