Our Jbel Saghro Trekking 5 Days walking adventure holiday in Morocco takes you from magical Marrakech to explore the heart of the Jebel Saghro. We’ll be trekking amongst rocky peaks, hidden valleys and green oases, where we’ll find the traditional villages of the welcoming Berber people. Walking along quiet trails through a variety of spectacular Jebel Saghro scenery, we’ll trek to the summit of the highest peak in the Jebel Saghro range, Amalou n’Mansour (2712m). With warm days and crystal clear visibility, the walking conditions are ideal and the vistas are superb, with the views northwards from the Jebel Saghro over to the sparkling snow-capped peaks of the High Atlas Mountains. An exciting drive across the High Atlas Mountains sees us back in UNESCO Marrakech. Here we have a free day to explore the bustling Djemaa-el-Fna and souk, which provides a fitting end to this spectacular two week adventure trekking holiday in the undiscovered Jebel Saghro!
You will be collected from your hotel in Marrakech and transferred over the High Atlas (Tichka Pass) and through Ouarzazate and Agdz to Nkob (about 6.5 hours drive) with picnic lunch en-route. After Nkob, drive on piste to Handour (1,200 m) for overnight camp.
Start our hiking from Handour to Berkik plateau and Tamalelt Village (1,380 m).

Climb to Tizi n’Taggourt plateau (1,900 m) and continue to Tadaout Tablah, a forest of pinnacles.

In the morning, trek round the Tadaout Tablah spectacular pinnacle region and after lunch continue on to Bab n’ Ali ( Gate of Ali ) very scenic twin Mountain.
Overnight camp

Early morning departure from the camp for a short walk down to Tagdilt. Meet our driver and return by road to Marrakech via Roses valley, and Ait ben Haddou world herotage where you can visit the kasbah, have lunch and drive to Marrakech .
