Itinerary

• Day 01 :

  FEZ – IFRAN – MIDDLE ATLAS – HIGH ATAS – ZIZ OASIS – MERZOUGA

  Early pick up from your Fez accommodation, we set off in a comfortable private A/C Vehicle; for our circular 4 days journey through the Saharan landscapes of both the Hamada (stone desert) and Erg (dune desert). Our first visits include the cyder forest of the middle Atlas, chance to see macaque monkeys, Interesting route takes you across the Ziz valley gorge and palmery, Lunch in the middle of the road, arrive to Merzouga Erg Chebbi Sahara, Morocco’s most famous Saharan dune is just breathtaking and transforming to the soul. On foot or camel back you have the option to travel into the remote dunes until our Nomadic style camp hidden in the dunes. An evening sunset climb to one of the higher dunes is customary followed by a freshly cooked dinner and perhaps a campfire experience and Berber songs and storytelling can be arranged, and Overnight under the nomadic tent or Outside under the shouting stars.

• Day 02:

  MERZOUGA – TODRA – DADES - SKOURA

  This morning after breakfast we have a final chance to climb the dunes before setting off on a scenic journey then brings us through southern Anti Atlas desert terrain where we may see nomadic camel herders crossing plains and witness the thriving date palm communities of this remote landscape – a truly fascinating day in cobra land! Visit to Todgha gorge, 400m high, attraction place for rock climbers, walk across the canyon, Our final destination where you can have a chance to visit a Berber family for tea and cultural interaction with real Berbers in the valley of roses in the dades valley. Drive to The Garden of Skoura

• Day 03:

  SKOURA OUARZAZATE – AIT BENHADDOU - MARRAKECH

  Today we set off for Ouarzazate is the Moroccan Sahara’s largest center and home to one of Hollywood’s most versatile studios for film making. we’ll make a tour of Ouarzazate’s main attractions and bazaar, Cinema Meseum, and drive down to Kasbah Ait ben Haddou We then walk towards Ait Benhadou (famous for Hollywood films such as Gladiator, The Mummy, Kingdom of Heaven and Lawrence of Arabia. We have lunch here in a comfortable tourist class restaurant that has a small pool and a great terrace overlooking the Hamada (stone desert of the Sahara). after exploring the famous Kasabah and film locations of Ait Benhadou, we depart along the old Caravan route, the Ounila valley, fellowed by a visit to Pasha Glaoui Kasbah and drive to Marrakech over Tizi n Tichka pass and Atlas Mountains.
