Itinerary

  • Day 01 :

    Marrakech- Azilal – Ait Bouguemmez valley

    Once you have your breakfast, you are going to start your trip by after a pick up towards the destination, going along the high Atlas range, it’s a very spectacular landscapes onto the snow-pecked mountains where we will stop whenever and wherever you want for enviable pictures. And on the way you are going to have stroll for the Ouzoud waterfalls (110m)High the second highest one in Africa. After that we are having lunch in Azilal the main town of the area. By the afternoon we are going to keep carrying on in order to get the happy valley, where we will overnight in camp of1850m, enjoying the magic of central high Atlas.

  • Day 02:

    Agouti (1850) – Ikiss N’Aaros (2300)

    After a traditional breakfast made by our chef, we are going to start walking by crossing of the apple trees fields, Berber villages where we are be so close to the Berber life and conventional architectures, the lunch will be in the last village (Arose) before start climbing, under the walnuts shadow. After enjoying lunch, continue walking in arose canyon passing from the troglodyte houses then the arriving to the Ikiss in six hours walking overnight in camp (2300m).

  • Day 03

    Ikiss naros (2300) – Tarkddit plateau (2900).

    After the breakfast, a short day trekking will take you to Tarkeddit in about 4 or 5 hours. It is relatively steep however, especially when you ascend the Tizi n oumzkik Pass at 2909m and the Aghouri Pass at 3450m. Your hard work will pay off though when you take in the simply stunning views of the surrounding areas available from the top of the passes. You’ll then follow a steep zigzagging path down to the Tarkeddid refuge where you and the group will spend the night.

  • Day 04

    Tarkddit plateau – M’goun summit – Oulilimt valley.

    To get to the summit of M’Goun, the second highest peak in this region of North Africa, you and your guides will have to get up early. The ascent is not technically that difficult, but it is hard work in places. When you reach the summit, you will be rewarded with timeless views of a magnificent natural vista. In the way back from the summit we’re going to take other feet path to get the Oulilimt valley where it’s possible to meet some of Berber nomads with their cattle living in caves. We’re going to overnight outdoor in camp

  • Day 05

    Oulilimt valley – Aflafal gorges – Aflafal refuge.

    After the completion of M’Goun, you have a very varied day’s trekking ahead of you. You’ll traverse the edge of the Arouss Gorge and down past streams and rivers before ascending to the Oumsoud Pass at 2969m. You can then picnic in a delightful meadow, sporting a spring and located in the Oumlilimt Valley. After a further 3 hours or so of trekking, you will enjoy the landscapes in the Aflafal gorges and spend precious moments then we’re going to reach the Ain Aflafal refuge where we’re going to overnight.

  • Day 06

    Aflafal refuge – ighramt n ait hamed –Timit.

    The day’s walk will take about 5 or 6 hours to get back over the Ait Imi Pass to Tabant. The trekking should be easy at first, but becomes a little more difficult as the Ait Imi Pass; you’ll start to climb, before encountering a steep ascent at the end. From here though, you can see down into the lovely M’Goun Valley and on a clear day, you can see as far as Tabant the center of the happy valley. The descent from the pass is steep and there is loose scree, but only lasts about 90 minutes. Eventually, you will arrive in Ait Imi, about 30 minutes away from the center which is Tabant. Continue walking near to the river in order to get Timit the quite village under the Sidi Moussa collective granary. Overnight  in guest house.

  • Day 07

    Timit – Explore the valley – Marrakech.

    After breakfast, we‘re going to have some time exploring the happy valley with its collective granary Sidi moussa, get panoramic view from the top of the hull, descending to get the valley again and join the center before comeback to guest house where we’re going to have our lunch and join the vane, drive back to Marrakech in the afternoon and enjoy the evening time at the big square and the big square
