Itinerary

  • Day 01 :

    Meet you in Casablanca airport and drive to Rabat via Hassan second mosque

    Upon arrival, we will greet you at the airport and drive to Casablanca and then to Rabat. If you have time you can visit Casablanca and see Hassan II Mosque, the largest outside of Mecca and experience the coastal “Cornish” seaside. Afterwards, we will leave to Rabat.

  • Day 02

    City Tour of Rabat- Chefchaouen.

    Half day tour in Rabat, Morocco’s political capital, you will learn Rabat’s history and enjoy its beautiful domes, minarets, wide avenues and green spaces. Your guide will escort you on a walk around the picturesque Almohad northern walls of the Oudaïa Kasbah. The kasbah was built by Moulay Ismaïl from 1672-1727 to protect the city and is enclosed by ramparts dating from the Almohad period. Visit Bab Oudaïa, a monumental gate and example of Almohad military architecture. See the Museum de Oudaïa, Moulay Ismaïl’s palace exhibiting collections of Moroccan folk art. Before moving on to city medina.

    We will visit the Hassan Tower in Rabat and then drive to Chefchaouen  via  the Rif Mountains, break for lunch and we make our way through the green hills of Rif  via Wazzan and other Rif villages.  We will be in Chefchaouen by the early afternoon.

  • Day 03

    Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

    After your breakfast in the riad our authentic journey will start towards Volubilis crossing via Wazan and other Rif villages, in Volubilis we will discover the roman ruins and learn about the archeological site of Moroccan history ,after the visit of the ruins we will shift our way to Meknes city the 17 th century heritage where we will stop for lunch and hang around the historical huge walls of the medina , Bab El Mansour and enjoy a visit of Moulay ismail’s shrine .

    After the visit of Meknes we will drive directly to Fes.

  • Day 04

    Fes Guided Tour

    After  breakfast, you  will have a guided visit at 9:00 Am in the medina of Fez. To begin with  the southern tower and the 16th century fortress face to face with the northern one, a panoramic view over the medieval city. We will visit an enjoyable pottery cooperative. It will enhance your knowledge about the making of Moroccan mosaic “zellige” and the blue pottery of Fez. A true labyrinthine old city of the 8th century. You will travel in time back to the medieval period of the city where people still work in small narrow streets, several tiny stalls of all kinds of traditional crafts, and donkeys loaded with supplies are going up and down in the streets of the medina. You will feel no sense of direction and time halts for a while. The medina of Fez is rich in Islamic monuments: the fascinating old mosques, the University of El-Karaouiyine  and its libraries. All These elements made Fez the intellectual and cultural capital of the country. To finish the day there is an optional to see Jewish quarter including the Aben Danan Synagogue.

  • Day 05

    Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Oasis – Merzouga Sahara desert

    After breakfast we will start our day from the Riad in Fes then drive southwards to Ifrane and Azrou by the Middle Atlas Mountains. On the way we will stop at cedar forest to see the Barbarian Ape in their natural habitat. Traveling through the Tizi Ntalghamt pass to Midelt and along the magnificent Ziz Gorges carved through volcanic rock, you’ll see views of the Middle-Atlas plateau, noticing how the scenery changes to reveal hints of the desert as you approach the city Errachidia. After lunch, we’ll continue our journey through the Ziz valley, Erfoud, Merzouga

  • Day 06

    Merzouga Sahara desert

    After breakfast,we leave the riad,To discover the Sahara big sand dunes, we do Safari tour of the dunes ,we visit Khamlia village where you learn about about GNAOUA,Gnaoua tribe,originating from sub-saharian countries such as the sudan,Mali,and Niger,were forcibly moved from their homelands across the sahara to Morocco as part of the Worldwide slave trade .Lunch will be at the same village with one of the families who are specialzing in making Berber Pizza.. In the afternoon, we take the camels to get to our camp in the middle of Erg Chebbi Sand Dunes. 20 km long and 5 km wide it is also reputed as the highest sand dunes in North Africa. It is a unique and diverse environment. The camel trek takes about 1hr 30 min from the hotel to the camp where we continue the spirit of the nomadic Berber lifestyle. There we set up Berber tents with an additional restaurant and kitchen with the dunes naturally providing basic facilities. The tents are well equipped and we provide mattresses, blankets, and cushions.Or as we provode luxury camp including shower,toilet and wife .

    After dinner we gather round the fire and enjoy the desert night perhaps with traditional Berber drums.

  • Day 07

    Merzouga – Toudgha Gorges – Tinghir – Dades gorges.

    The camel man will wake you up early in the morning to watch what may well be the best sunrise of your life. Afterwards, you’ll peacefully comel-trek back to your hotel appreciating the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes – changing with the light as the day progresses. After meeting your driver, you’ll leave for Tinghir and Todra gorges – the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco. Before arriving at Dades Valley for dinner and accommodation.

  • Day 08

    Dades valley – Boutghrar – Ouarzazate.

    After breakfast in the hotel, you will travel through the Dades valley towards Boutghrar where you can make an very interesting walking in the valley,have a lunch with an local family  and travel to Ouarzazate. The route through boutghrar and Kalaa M’gouna is the way of the thousand Kasbahs – providing numerous opportunities to take some of your best photographic shots of the trip. Continuing to Ouarzazate “the Hollywood of Africa '', whose geography and beautiful landscapes have attracted many world class movie producers. Here you may choose to visit the studios, containing props used in movies you may have already seen, such as The Mummy, Gladiator and the Last Temptation of Christ.

  • Day 09

    Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah- Ounilla Valley- High Atlas – Marrakech

    After having our breakfast in the riad we travel to visit the fortified city of Aït Benhaddou, built in the 11th century. Once up on a time this Kasbah was the former caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakesh. It is situated on a hill along the Ounila River and has some beautiful examples of kasbahs, which unfortunately sustain damage during each rainstorm and windstorms. Most of the town’s inhabitants now live in a more modern village at the other side of the river; however, around five families are still living within this Kasbah.

    1 hours 30 minute walk with your guide to learn about the kasbahs and discover the most beautiful Berber village in the whole county.

    Travel to Marrakech through Ounilla valley and Tichka pass -stops for photos all over the high Atlas Mountains,Berber village.

  • Day 10

    Marrakech Guided Tour

    After breakfast we will start our tour with a local guide to discover Marrakesh which is known as the “Red City”. Marrakesh is the most important former imperial city in Morocco’s history, it is situated near the foothills of the snow-capped Atlas Mountain. Like all the old cities, Marrakech comprises both an old fortified city The Medina and an very modern city called Gueliz built during the French occupation. Marrakesh has the largest traditional market (souk) in Morocco and also has one of the busiest squares in Africa and the world, Djemaa el Fna. The square is full of story-tellers, water sellers, dancers, snakes charmers and musicians. During the night the square turns into a huge open-air restaurant.

    During our visit we will see The Koutoubia Mosque, built in the 12th century in the reign of Almoravid Dynasty. We will go among narrow streets and allies in ancient city.

    You will be amazed by how many different stalls, colors, smells and goods in the souks. It is a great place for shopping for gifts for yourselves and for your beloved ones. It is nice to have a cup of mint-tea in one of the terraces in order to end up your journey in the red city, offering a great view over the magical square Jamae El Fnaa that you always will remember!!!

    Marrakech to Essaouira

    Essaouira – Casablanca.

    Leave essaouira after your breakfast,drive through al Jadida where you can stop for a short visit before you get to Casablanca to visit Inside hassan II mosque ( last visit at 3h00 pm) .

    Airport Transfers

    Mohamed V aiport is about 45 minute to one hour from Casablanca hotels,please make sure to be at the aiport at least 2 hours 15 minute before your flight.
